2025 Summer Athletics Schedule for El Dorado Public Schools. Activities run June 2 through June 26, and July 7 through July 17. Strength and conditioning continues through July 31. The schedule is divided into four student groups: High School Boys, High School Girls, Middle School, and Grades 3 through 5. Sport and weight training sessions are scheduled not to overlap. High School Boys: • Strength and Conditioning: Monday and Wednesday, 6:15 to 7:30 AM; Tuesday and Thursday, 6:15 to 7:30 AM and 7:15 to 8:15 AM in the weight room. • Football: Monday, 7:30 to 8:30 AM; Tuesday and Thursday, 7:30 to 8:15 AM at EHS Field. • Basketball: Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 to 9:45 AM; Wednesday, 7:30 to 8:30 AM in the main gym. Also Tuesday and Thursday, 6:15 to 8:15 PM from June 9 to July 17. • Wrestling: Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 to 9:30 AM in the wrestling room. • Soccer: Tuesday and Thursday, 6 to 7 AM at EMS Field. High School Girls: • Strength and Conditioning: Monday and Wednesday, 7:30 to 8:45 AM; Tuesday and Thursday, 7:15 to 8:15 AM and 8:15 to 9:30 AM in the weight room. • Volleyball: Monday, 8:45 to 9:45 AM; Tuesday and Thursday, 7:15 to 8:15 AM in the main gym. • Basketball: Tuesday and Thursday, 9:45 to 11 AM in the main gym; Wednesday, 8:30 to 9:30 AM. • Wrestling: Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the wrestling room. • Soccer: Tuesday and Thursday, 6 to 7 AM at EMS Field. Middle School Students: • Strength and Conditioning: Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 to 10:45 AM in the weight room. • Football: Tuesday and Thursday, 8:45 to 9:30 AM at EHS Field. • Volleyball: Tuesday, 8:45 to 9:30 AM at the Rec Center. • Basketball: Tuesday and Thursday, 11 AM to 12 PM in the main gym. • Wrestling: Tuesday and Thursday, 8 to 8:45 AM in the wrestling room. • Soccer: Tuesday and Thursday, 6 to 7 AM at EMS Field. Grades 3 to 5: • Strength and Conditioning: Monday and Wednesday, 8:45 to 9:30 AM in the weight room. • Field Session: Monday, 9:30 to 10:15 AM at EHS Field. • Gym Session: Wednesday, 9:30 to 10:15 AM in the main gym. Grades 3 to 5 should attend all three sessions each week. Additional Soccer Dates for High School and Middle School: July 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, and 31, from 7 to 8 PM at EMS Field. Key Dates: • May 20: Last day of the 2024–2025 school year. • May 21 to June 1 and June 30 to July 6: No athletics, except Boys Basketball Camp from May 27 to 29. • August 13: First day of the 2025–2026 school year. • August 18: First day of fall sports practices. All sessions are free for USD 490 students. The goal is 100 percent attendance, and prizes will be awarded.

De 3.º a 5.º grado: • Fuerza y acondicionamiento: Lunes y miércoles, de 8:45 a 9:30 a. m. en el gimnasio. • Sesión de campo: Lunes, de 9:30 a 10:15 a. m. en el campo de EHS. Sesión de gimnasia: Miércoles, de 9:30 a 10:15 h en el gimnasio principal. Los alumnos de 3.º a 5.º grado deben asistir a las tres sesiones semanales. Fechas adicionales de fútbol para preparatoria y secundaria: 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 y 31 de julio, de 19:00 a 20:00 h en el campo EMS. Fechas clave: • 20 de mayo: Último día del ciclo escolar 2024-2025. • Del 21 de mayo al 1.º de junio y del 30 de junio al 6 de julio: No hay actividades deportivas, excepto el campamento de baloncesto masculino del 27 al 29 de mayo. • 13 de agosto: Primer día del ciclo escolar 2025-2026. • 18 de agosto: Primer día de prácticas deportivas de otoño. Grandview fourth graders made state parade floats from shoe boxes in preparation for state assessments. Students picked a state and featured some of their favorite features of that particular state. They participated in a classroom parade to share their creations. #PartOfThePride
