EMS Athletics/Activities: All after school practices are canceled for today, Monday, May 6th, due to the pending weather. Tennis is currently in Winfield at the league tournament. They should return to El Dorado before the storms arrive. #PartofthePride

What a fantastic day for our El Dorado Middle School students! 238 of our students had the incredible opportunity to attend the Butler Community College baseball game as a PROS reward party.
Butler baseball had an impressive doubleheader sweep against the Cloud County Thunderbirds, securing a home playoff series next week with wins of 5-3 and 11-5 at McDonald Stadium on Friday afternoon.
A huge thank you to Butler Community College for hosting our students and providing them with an unforgettable experience! Let's continue to celebrate our students' achievements and support our local teams.
EMS soccer traveled to Prairie Hills Middle School yesterday for the second round of the Patriot League tournament. After a hard fought 60 minutes, EMS lost to the #1 seed team 1-0. Congratulations to the players and coaches on a wonderful season! #PartofthePride

This week, we had the privilege of welcoming some local heroes to our school! Lieutenant Caleb Fistler, along with Firefighters Schmitt and Olson from the Butler County Fire Department, visited Mrs. Vides' class to share their experiences as firefighters. ๐๐จ
They gave insights into their day-to-day duties, our students gained a firsthand glimpse into the courageous world of firefighting. It was an inspiring and informative session from these brave individuals. ๐

Patriot League Soccer Tournament: EMS will be hosting Haysville West Middle School on Monday, April 29th. The Wildcats earned the #4 seed in the tournament, with HWMS at #5. There will only be one game involving the A team. Start time for the game is 5:00 PM at BG Veterans Sports Complex. #PartofthePride

Ms. Vides' Social Skills class was honored to have the El Dorado Fire Department, along with Butler Community College Fire Science students, come talk to her classes today. They brought a fire truck for the kids to tour as well! If you saw the truck in front of the building today and wondered, everything is AWESOME at EMS! #PartofthePride
