E-WOW (El Dorado Working on Wellness) will hold a Summit on December 13, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Clifford Stone Room at the Butler Community College to discuss the mental and physical health of youth in our community. E-WOW is a cooperative venture between USD 490, Butler Community College, Susan B Allen Memorial Hospital, and the El Dorado YMCA. Averie Nelson of the Butler Community College Foundation stated that E-WOW has been in existence since 2014, working to improve the physical and mental health of our youth.
The summit will offer a review of programs E-WOW has provided to date. A discussion will follow by community professionals addressing current issues with the mental and physical health of our young people. Finally, a discussion will be moderated for those in attendance asking for suggestions on how to improve the health of our youth.
