USD 490 School Resource Officer Tyson Nielsen and his K9, Camo, worked at National Night Out for the City of El Dorado on August 3.. Nielsen and Camo demonstrated how Camo assists with searches in the school environment and spent the evening connecting with area youth.
“Having that great working relationship between the school police department and city police department has really helped us build a much safer school environment for our students, staff and patrons,” Kurt Spivey, USD 490 SRO said.
