El Dorado High School SkillsUSA students Sebastian Lentz, Jewelsuna Murphy, Aiden Basile, and Abigail Euler attended the annual fall leadership conference at the Wheat State Retreat ground in Augusta, Kan., on Oct. 23-24, 2026.

The fall leadership conference is where the state SkillsUSA districts come together to enhance their knowledge about SkillsUSA and to elect the year's state officers.

El Dorado put forth Abigail Euler as its first ever officer candidate for the office of State President. While the officer candidates campaigned, SkillsUSA students attended breakout sessions that were designed to help local chapters improve memberships and provided in-depth training on the Skills USA program of work structure.

During the closing ceremony, it was announced that Abigail Euler was elected as this year's State SkillsUSA President. Sebastian Lentz, Jewelsuna Murphy, and Advisor Pete Cisneros each earned a Statesmen Pin.
