El Dorado High School FCCLA competed at state April 13-14, 2026, where two students qualified for nationals.
STAR Events Results:
Emma Villa earned gold, 3rd place, and qualified for nationals in Leadership!
Gage Walden earned silver, 2nd place, and qualified for nationals in Public Policy Advocate!
Jewelsuna Murphy, Payton Murphy-Ward, Sofia Nunez, and Sydney Terrones all earned silver medals in their events!
STAR stands for Students Taking Action with Recognition. In these events, students complete a project to better themselves, their school, or their community, create a portfolio or board, and present it to judges.

A Team of Sydney Terrones, Jewelsuna Murphy, and Citlalli Cadena-Barraza also earned the black ribbon in the Go for the Red event.
