Students in Mrs. Gwinn's seventh grade science class stepped into the role of forensic scientists as they performed pickle autopsies on Oct. 23, 2025.
This fun and hands-on investigation helped them practice using real dissection tools in preparation for their upcoming sheep brain dissections. Each team worked to uncover the mystery of how their pickle “patient” died, making detailed scientific observations along the way. It was a day full of curiosity, teamwork, and plenty of scientific discovery!
