This last year I was blessed with the support of the school staff, students, parents, and the neighborhood in general. I tried to be a positive influence and a credit to the district standards, hopefully, I succeeded.
The Grandview PTO provided a shelter which was a LIFESAVER on many wet, cold, and windy days. I also received many gifts and cards from all. The hot drinks and treats were much appreciated. Some came from district bus drivers, local police, and the neighborhood residents.
The cooperation and patience of all drivers was greatly appreciated. We did not have a single incident this school year at the corner that required paperwork, police or even me having to blow my whistle. This is quite a feat considering there have been just under 7,000 pedestrians and about 104,000 vehicles through the intersection during the school year.
Again, THANK YOU to one and all, it has been a great experience.
