Staff members are named Employee of the Month based on nominations from students, colleagues, or families. They represent the character and dedication that represents what it means to be #PartOfThePride.

This quarterly award recognizes an employee who has gone above and beyond to support students, colleagues, or families. They embody what it means to be #PartOfThePride. Recipients will be selected by the recognition committee from staff who have been named an employee of the month.

KAKE has been awarding Golden Apple awards since 2003 to honor teachers in the Wichita area who are making a positive difference in schools. This program gives local teachers community-wide recognition for the creative ways they support, motivate and encourage a lifetime of learning, in and out of the classroom.
