El Dorado Middle School science students dove into a frightfully fascinating investigation the week of Halloween — dissecting sheep brains! As part of Medical Detectives, students explored the structures and functions of the brain, learning how each part controls different parts of our bodies and behaviors.
It was a creepy-cool way to connect Halloween fun with real-world science! Students were amazed to see how complex — and a little spooky — our brains really are.
