The National Honor Society (NHS) is an organization that recognizes students who exemplify its four pillars: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. Membership is by invitation and requires students to complete an application process. NHS provides opportunities for students to grow as leaders, engage in service projects, and contribute to their school and community. Members demonstrate the four pillars through activities such as hosting blood drives, peer tutoring, and volunteering with organizations like Habitat for Humanity. These initiatives allow students to develop important skills while making a positive impact and serving as role models within the school and community.

Sign Up: Students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher are invited to apply for NHS during the second semester of their sophomore and/or junior year. Applications are reviewed by a Faculty Council, which evaluates candidates based on their academic achievements, community service, and leadership experience. Accepted students are expected to uphold high standards in academics, leadership, school involvement, and community service to remain active members of NHS.
